Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderabad, India – 220,000 Sq. Ft
Four different Google offices all in different locations and themed differently. Whilst the Bangalore office was themed on the IT Hub that the city is famous for, the Mumbai office was themed on the festivals and the culture of Mumbai. The Hyderabad office was designed to meet the requirements of the Google Geo team for Google Maps in India. The Gurgaon office was planned along the theme of old Delhi and its ‘gallis’ (gallis: is a series of small streets especially those used for commerce and street markets).
Common to all the offices are the users who belong to a young demographic. The design revolved around the use of bold colours with life size graphics. Other design features include the creative use of bold wall papers, both colour and texture and, carpets all coupled with designer accented lights used in strategic locations.
