The Eye was conceived as a multimedia centre for contemporary urban Thai culture and art. Public accessibility is the core of the concept from which the subsequent form and program are defined. The concept is derived through the simple 20 degree rotation of the ground plane within a clearly defined elliptical boundary thus creating an intervention or event within an existing well established Public Plaza.
